9-11 Charity Bike Ride

Newtown Hook and Ladder and Sandy Hook fire departments staged their ladder trucks on either side of Main Street and hung an American flag from the ladder tips in support of these riders.

This is Connecticut's largest 9-11 tribute motorcycle ride, which benefits CT Firefighters, Police Officers, and local United Ways. Thousands of motorcycles ride through 11 towns, with a Police motorcycle escort, and end with a five-mile parade throught Bridgeport.

It was an awe-inspiring sight.
